A while back I posted a poll with the question “Do you still print?” This is something that I have come to realize not many people do these days. My opinion is that this could be because we are living in a digital world. A world where almost everything is online, real time cyber space. In the busy lives we lead, by the time you manage to squeeze in that quick trip to the local print lab the images you are about to collect are old news and you’ve probably posted a dozen pictures in between.

The results of the poll showed that although not many people make printing a priority. They would love to have prints included in their photo shoot packages. This was a little bit sad for me to realize. One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting on the floor in my mom’s bedroom. Where my sister and I had found her tupperware filled with old photos. It was as if we had discovered a treasure chest that held stories of our family and little pieces of who we were. It breaks my heart to think that our children or grandchildren will never experience this.
As a photographer, I have chosen to include Wedding Albums in all of my wedding packages. It is my job to capture a very special, intimate moment in a persons life and even after the newly weds are back from honeymoon, I don’t want them to just post their wedding photos online for a week or two before everyone is talking about the latest viral video they just saw! No, I want them to have something to hold in their hands, to look at over and over again reliving that magical day. I want them to bring it out when family come to visit. To show their children one day when they tell them about how mommy and daddy fell in love.

I believe in the magic of photographs, that they have this indescribable way of taking you back to an exact point in time where you can almost hear the sounds that were in the air that day. It’s the magic that I don’t want to loose!

The Wedding Albums included in my packages come in two different sizes. The smaller one being a 20 x 20 cm and the bigger version 30 x 30. The cover options to choose from are either leather or linen with an optional viewing window that can be added as well. All albums are printed on Fuji Lustre archival paper, designed exclusively to produce high-image-quality color prints .
