Monique and Adam have been a couple for as long as I’ve known them. When they asked me to photograph their wedding, of course I was thrilled! They were planning the big day when Covid came to town. It wasn’t easy to make a decision to cancel when that’s what every 2020 bride was doing. They decided to go ahead with their plans and take what ever may come. And it was the right decision. The day was set for December and by then Corona restrictions had settled down. The venue was a delightful family farm, on the outskirts of Hillcrest. Their closest friends (but mostly family), gathered under a huge tree on Gracelands Farm. It was exactly how they had imagined.
To this day, I have never had a bride more excited than Monique. From the second she was in her dress, she was ready to get down the aisle and get married to her soulmate! Her face says it all, from the beginning of the day right through to the speeches.
